On-line Systems
On-line analyzers provide customers from a broad spectrum of industries with continuous real time measurements that enable process optimization leading to increased productivity and improved quality.
SPECTRO's on-line analyzers and monitors are designed from the bottom-up to perfectly match individual process control analysis requirements. The use of proven industrial-strength components and NEMA 4X (IP65) enclosures ensure reliable operation even in harsh environments, underscoring SPECTRO`s hallmark of producing ruggedly reliable analysis systems requiring an absolute minimum of service and maintenance intervention. A wide range of in-line product sampling techniques, coupled with prepared software solutions, that include integrated diagnostics and remote control capabilities, make interfacing and integrating with existing plant control software and infrastructure straight-forward, while at the same time avoiding potentially costly plant process modifications.

SPECTRO has the unique ability to select from a range of analytical measurement technologies - X-ray fluorescence (XRF), X-ray transmission (XRT), Inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy (ICP-OES) or electrochemical cell (EC) - tailoring the optimal technology selection to match the sampling method, analytical requirements and processing speed parameters of our customers' systems.

Depending on the application and the analytical technology employed, the determination and monitoring of the elements from lithium (3) to uranium (92) in the periodic table, for ppm to percent concentration levels, is possible. Multiple sampling techniques allow the direct on-line measurement of multiple solid and liquid sample states.

Some typical applications include the online chemical analysis and monitoring of low level sulfur contents in liquid hydrocarbon streams, sulfur in crude oil, or the detailed composition of: plating bath chemicals, liquid catalysts, waste effluent streams, slurries (paper, clay and mining), raw meal make-up in cement processing or product quality control, cellulose, polystyrene pellets, feldspar, silicon on paper and release films, conversion coatings, coatings on metals, coatings on fibers/textiles and hundreds more.

A worldwide support structure ensures the support demanded by 24/7 process operations. Represented in over 50 countries, SPECTRO is there when you need it, where you need it. With over 20,000 analytical systems installed worldwide, and 25 years of experience, SPECTRO is the proven process analysis instrumentation market leader.
